DDA launches Rs 5 crore duplex penthouses in Dwarka

The luxury society will comprise 14 duplex penthouses, 170 super HIG flats and 946 HIG flats.

November 23, 2023: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has planned to launch the first set of penthouses in Dwarka under its new housing scheme catering to the luxury segment. The registration process for the flats will begin on November 30, 2023, according to media reports. These newly constructed penthouses will be located in Dwarka’s Sector 19B, featuring terrace gardens and offering views of the adjoining golf course.

The luxury society will comprise 14 duplex penthouses, 170 super high-income group (super HIG) flats and 946 high-income group (HIG) flats. Each flat will have two basements and a parking space for two cars. The penthouses will have four bedrooms, the super HIGs will have three rooms and a study, and the HIG flats will have three bedrooms. Each duplex penthouse, which has been built at the top of seven towers, will have a plinth area of 424 sqm in a 4+1 room configuration, a utility balcony and an open terrace. The luxurious penthouses have been developed with cutting-edge technology and optimal ventilation.

 

Prices of DDA flats in Dwarka

  • EWS flats – Rs 11.5 lakh and above
  • LIG Rs 23 lakh and above
  • MIG – Rs 1 crore
  • HIG – Rs 1.4 crore
  • Super HIG – Rs 2.5 crore
  • Penthouses – Rs 5 crore

The prices will range from Rs 4.5 crore and Rs 5 crore. There will also be four additional towers comprising 728 EWS flats. The Super HIG flats are priced at about Rs 2.5 crore, the HIG flats range between Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.5 crore.

An HT report cited officials stating that flats should be ready for possession by December 2023 or January 2024. The society is being developed at a cost of around Rs 700 crore.

 

DDA Housing Scheme details

In one of its biggest housing schemes, the authority over 32,000 flats across different categories. These housing units, in various locations such as Dwarka, Loknayakpuram and Narela, will be allotted through two different modes – e-auction and First Come First Serve (FCFS) based on their location.

Under the scheme, the DDA is offering 1,100 luxury flats through e-auction. Further, 316 and 647 DDA flats at Dwarka Sector 14 and Lok Nayak Puram, respectively, will also be offered.

As per media reports, senior officials have said that the registration for 28,000 LIG and EWS flats will start on November 24, 2023, on a first-come-first-serve basis.

 

Dwarka’s Sector 19B location

Dwarka’s Sector 19B is a sublocality of Dwarka Sector 19B and is a thriving residential neighbourhood in west Delhi. The properties offered by the DDA are located amidst lush greenery and are designed to offer views of Asia’s longest golf course.

Moreover, the locality is in proximity to the IGI Airport, Sector 21 Metro station and the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, officials said as cited in a TOI report.
