April 30, 2024: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has increased the workforce by 50% for each of the 11 towers in the Golf View Apartments in Sector 19B of Dwarka in order to meet the project deadline of June 30, 2024, according to media reports. The move comes amidst concerns over a delay in the handover of the DDA’s luxury flats project in Dwarka. The authority’s vice-chair, Subhashish Panda, has visited the site on April 25 and was briefed that the deadline would be met, officials said as cited in a Hindustan Times report. The authority is working on war footing to meet the deadline of June 2024, as per reports.
To promote sales, DDA, for the first time, developed model flats for potential buyers to sample them, besides setting up a help desk and housing camps, the report said.
Earlier in April 2024, several buyers of the DDA luxury flats in Dwarka complained about the uneven construction, rusting iron fittings and seepage issues in the under-construction project.
