September 5, 2024: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has set up a registration helpdesk at its head office here for its Housing Scheme 2024, according to an official statement issued on September 3, 2024, mention media reports. Depending on the footfall and demand, the authority is likely to open similar helpdesks at other locations, aimed at increasing its outreach at the doorstep of its customers, as per the statement.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena, who is the DDA Chairman, directed the agency to depute trained executives on helpdesks to assist prospective flat buyers with a customer-friendly and smooth experience. To handle queries efficiently and assist buyers in the registration process, the DDA has established a dedicated registration help desk at its head office, Vikas Sadan, for the Housing Scheme 2024, as mentioned in the statement.
The helpdesk will be operational on all working days from 10 AM to 6 PM. It will provide support and guidance to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
The helpdesk will deal with queries regarding the DDA’s housing scheme, eligibility criteria, location, specification of the flats, price, amenities, location advantages, apart from extending help in the process of registration, as per the statement.
The DDA recently launched three housing schemes at various locations such as Narela, Dwarka, Siraspur, Ramgarh, Rohini, Loknayakpuram and Jasola. These schemes cater to all categories of people. This includes the Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme, offering nearly 34,000 affordable flats for the EWS and LIG categories at a starting price of around Rs 11.5 lakh.
The DDA also launched the Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024, offering 173 premium flats in Dwarka at a starting price of Rs 1.28 crore.
