August 7, 2024: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is planning to launch three housing schemes in August 2024, offering nearly 40,000 flats in the affordable, mid-income and high-income groups.
A total of 39,573 flats will be offered, which will be located in areas such as Dwarka, Rohini, Jasola, Narela, Loknayakpuram and Siraspur. Of these, 34,000 flats will be available in the low-income groups (LIG) and economically weaker sections (EWS) categories under the Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme. These housing units will be located in Ramgarh Colony, Siraspur, Loknayakpuram, Rohini and Narela. The flats will be available on a first-come, first-serve (FCFS) basis with prices starting at around Rs 11.5 lakh.
The DDA General Housing Scheme will include around 5,400 flats on offer under the higher-income groups (HIG), middle-income groups (MIG), LIG and EWS categories. These flats will be located in Jasola, Loknayakpuram and Narela and priced at 2023 rates without any escalation, officials said as cited in reports. The starting price of these flats will be approximately Rs 29 lakh.
The DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme will have 173 flats on offer in Sectors 14, 16B, and 19B of Dwarka. The starting prices of these flats will be around Rs 1.28 crore. These flats will cater to those seeking upscale housing. The housing scheme will provide flats across MIG and HIG categories. The DDA flats will be allotted through e-auction.
