DHBVN offers you an option of checking your electricity bill on its official website. All you need to do is visit the website and select ‘Bill Information’ from the menu. To check the history of your power consumption, visit ‘My Account’ on the homepage and select ‘Consumption’ -> ‘Consumption History’ from the drop down menu. Enter your account number and password to login and check the consumption history.
Bill payment
You can pay your electricity bill online on the website itself after obtaining the details to avoid last minute hassles. Moreover, this service can also be availed on the DHBVN mobile application and various UPI apps as well.
Applying for a new connection
Applying for a new power connection has been made easy by DHBVN as it can be done online on the official website. Just click on the ‘New Connection’ option on the website’s homepage and select ‘Apply.’ You will be redirected to a form that you would need to fill and submit. After the verification of your details, you will be intimated of the further steps by DHBVN.
Applying for a solar connection
To apply for a new solar power connection on the DHBVN website, click on the ‘Solar Connection’ option on the homepage. Login using your credentials and fill out the form. You will also be required to submit a copy of your documents such as Aadhaar and PAN card, previous electricity bill and a photograph of the connection site. You will be intimated of the further details within a few days of applying.
Registering complaints
Should you have any problems related to your power connection, you can register a complaint with DHBVN over their website or SMS. To do this, select the ‘Register Complaints’ option from the menu on the homepage. Enter your credentials to login and file your complaint. You can also track the status of your complaint by login in from the same menu later.
Similarly, you can also register a complaint using the mobile application. Simply login to the app using your credentials and select ‘Lodge Complaint’ from the homepage. Fill in the required details and description of your complaint and submit.

DHBVN also allows consumers to obtain information about power outages and major faults in the district. For this, you need to select ‘Power Outages’ from the service section on the homepage. On entering the required circle, you will be shown the complete details about power outages and their durations in the selected area.

Residents of Gurugram can pay their electricity bill online in several ways. Here’s how:
DHBVN official website
On the DHBVN official website, select the ‘Pay Your Bill’ icon. You will be required to login using your registered mobile number and an OTP. On logging in, you will be able to view your bill details. Select the suitable payment method from the options provided (net banking, credit/debit card, UPI, e-wallet) and complete the transaction by entering the OTP. Do not forget to save the receipt for future reference.
DHBVN mobile application
Download the DHBVN mobile application from Play Store or AppStore. Open the application and login by entering the required credentials. Once you have logged in, select the ‘Pay Bill’ option. You will then be shown the net payable amount which you can pay by netbanking, credit/debit card, UPI or e-wallet. Complete the transaction by entering the OTP and save a copt of the e-receipt.
Paytm
To pay your electricity bill over Paytm, open the app and select the ‘Electricity Bill’ option under Recharge & Bill Payments menu.
