May 15, 2024: Strong housing sales have helped real estate major DLF report a 62% increase in its consolidated profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2024, the company said on May 13. DLF’s profit after tax stood at Rs 920.71 crore in Q4FY24 as against Rs 570.01 crore in the year-ago period.
DLF, India’s largest real estate firm in terms of market capitalisation, said its total income stood at Rs 2,316 .70 crore for the quarter as against Rs 1,575.70 crore in Q4FY23.
The company reported sales bookings of Rs 14,778 crore for the year, surpassing its pre-sales target of Rs 12,000-13,000 crore by the end of FY24. DLF also launched around 6 million square foot of new products during the year, which were quickly sold, almost clearing out the entire inventory during the launch period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
