Andhra Pradesh launches e-Stamping services

The new facility will simplify the registration process.

Andhra Pradesh’s stamps and registration department has launched the e-stamping services. Virtually launched by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the e-stamping services will simplify the registration process. Stock Holding Corporation of India (SHCIL) is providing this service.

With this e-stamping facility, buyers/sellers can prepare property documents for registration, pay the AP stamp duty and registration fees directly, transfer cheques online, etc., on their own. The stamp duty and registration charges can be paid by visiting www.schcilestamp.com. The e-stamping app can also be used and the money can be paid through UPI.  One can pay stamp duty and registration charges with cash, too.

At present, the service is introduced in more than 1,400 centres, including SBI, Union Bank, Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, CSC (common service centres), stamp vendors and Stock Holding Corporation. This service will be extended to a 1,000 more centres, according to the state government’s plan.
