Application dates for E-Grantz scholarship 2022

A student can apply for a scholarship on the official website of E-Grantz (3.0) within one week of taking admission into any course. Both pre-matriculation and post-matriculation scholarships are available on the portal.

 

E-grantz scholarship: Eligibility criteria

Applicants must satisfy pre-established eligibility guidelines before signing up for a scholarship or program via the E-Grantz portal. These prerequisite requirements are outlined below:

  • The applicant must be currently enrolled in an accredited board or educational institution.
  • The applicant must be pursuing pre or post-matriculation studies
  • The applicant must take admission on the basis of academic excellence and reservation criteria

  • In the case of OBC and other quotas, the annual income should not exceed Rs 1,00,000

E-grantz scholarship: Step-by-step application process

Education is the most powerful tool we have to change the world. And yet, only some have equal access to educational opportunities. That’s why the Government of Kerala came up with an initiative to provide financial aid for the education of students under reserved categories. To apply for the scholarship, follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of  e-grantz 3.0

Step 2: On the bottom of the screen, click on ‘One Time Registration

Step 3: Fill in the Aadhaar Number and name of the applicant and click on ‘Validate Aadhaar’

Step 4: Enter the applicant’s name, date of birth, email address, and password.

Step 5: Tap on ‘Register to Proceed’

Step 6: Now log in using your credentials.

Step 7: After successfully logging in, furnish all the required details to complete your profile. 

Step 8: Review the application and click on ‘Apply for the scholarship’

Step 9: Your browser will be redirected to a new page displaying a list of scholarship options to choose from

Step 10:  Select the scholarship suitable for you and fill in the application and the documents per the specification.

Step 11: Once you have uploaded all the documents, submit the application form.

 

E-grantz scholarship: How to track the scholarship application status?

If you’re wondering how to track your scholarship application, here’s what you need to do. Go to the official website of E-Grantz and click on ‘Track Application.’ Now, log in by furnishing your Aadhaar number and date of birth.  This will take you to a page where you can see the status of your application’s status and any messages from the scholarship committee.

 

E-grantz scholarship rewards

The E-Grantz scholarship is a need-based scholarship for the reserved quota domiciles of the state of Kerala. The applicants are awarded scholarships in accordance with their current academic qualifications and the category they belong to. The scholarship awards are summarised below:

For Other Eligible Communities (OEC) and Scheduled Caste (SC) category applicants

Criteria Month-on-month stipend
The distance between the student’s residence and college is less than 8 km Rs 630
The distance between the student’s residence and college is more than 8 km Rs 750
The student who is currently enrolled in a professional course and lives on his own Rs 1,500

For Other Backward Categories (OBC) applicants

Criteria Month-on-month stipend
If the student is enrolled in a +2 course Rs 160
If the student is enrolled in Post Graduate/ professional course
  • Day scholar: Rs 200
  • Hosteller: Rs 250
If the student is enrolled in a Polytechnic (Diploma) course
  • Day scholar: Rs 100
  • Hosteller: Rs 150
