Eid ul-Fitr known marks the end of the month-long fasting and prayers by Muslims during Ramadan. The date on which Eid will be celebrated depends on the moon sighting. The day following the new moon or the Chaand Raat is celebrated as Eid. This year, Eid will be celebrated on April 10 or 11, based on the sightings of the moon.
