December 12, 2023: The Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) latest housing scheme has received an overwhelming response. Around 1,500 flats were booked in Dwarka, Narela and Lok Nayak Puram on the first day of booking on December 11, 2023, under the DDA’s recently launched scheme officials said as cited in media reports. Flats in Sector 14, Dwarka under the economically weaker section (EWS) and low-income group (LIG) categories were completely sold out.
The registration for the housing scheme, which offers flats on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis, started on November 24, 2023, and will close on March 1, 2024. The flat booking process began on December 11, 2023.
Media reports cited a senior DDA official stating that around 1,500 flats have been booked till now in Dwarka, Narela and Lok Nayak Puram under the FCFS housing scheme, including over 1,100 EWS and around 400 LIG flats. Total registration under the FCFS scheme is around 12,500.
DDA Diwali special housing scheme details
Under the DDA Diwali special housing scheme, over 32,000 flats are being offered across different categories. The scheme offers around 4,700 MIG flats in Dwarka Sector 19B, Lok Nayak Puram and Narela (Sectors A1 to A4), 316 LIG flats in Dwarka Sector 14, around 19,000 LIG flats in different pockets of Narela and around 8,400 EWS flats in Dwarka, Narela and Lok Nayak Puram.
The price of EWS flats starts at Rs 11.15 lakh while LIG flats and MIG flats are priced at Rs 23 lakh and Rs 1 crore, respectively.
