March 28, 2024: Hinduja Group’s GOCL Corporation Limited (GOCL) on March 27 has joined hands with Hyderabad-based Squarespace Builders to roll out strategic monetisation of around 264.5 acre land in Kukatpally for Rs 3,402 crores. To be completed in over one and half years, under the agreement, Rs 520 crore will be received as first instalment.
According to the company’s statement, as part of the agreement, 32 acre land will also be developed under a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Hinduja Healthcare Limited (previously known as Hinduja Estates Private Limited).
According to media reports, the company mentioned that it has commenced the immediate sale of 12.5 acre of the 32 acre under the JDA.
Media reports mentioned that according to GOCL, of the Rs 520 crore received as first instalment, Rs 160 crore will be the consideration for sale of 12.5 acre land. The remaining funds will be disbursed in phases.
