Leading real estate developer Godrej Properties on December 26, 2022, said it acquired approximately 62-acre land in Haryana’s Kurukshetra to develop a plot-based housing project.
This project will offer approximately 1.4 million square foot of plotted residential development, offering attractive plot sizes along with exceptional lifestyle amenities, the Mumbai-based developer said in a statement.
The latest acquisition is part of the developer’s residential portfolio expansion in the national capital region. The announcement by the developer came days after it announced the launch of a premium project in Gurgaon.
“Kurukshetra is a self-sufficient city with good infrastructure consisting of schools, colleges, hospitals and has significant historical and religious importance. The site is strategically located with access from the National Highway 44,” the company said in a statement.
“Haryana has been a key market for us, and we look forward to further strengthen our presence in Haryana with this project. We will aim to build an outstanding residential community that creates long term value for its residents,” said Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO-designate, Godrej Properties.
