Godrej Properties bookings touch Rs 3,252 cr in Q3

In the third quarter, the company recorded its highest ever quarterly sales with a total booking volume of 4.42 million sq ft.

Godrej Properties recorded its highest ever quarterly sales bookings of Rs 3,252 crore in Q3FY23 with a total booking volume of 4.42 million sqft.

In the third quarter, the company’s total income stood at Rs 366 crore as compared to Rs 399 in Q3FY22. Net profit was Rs 59 crore in Q3FY23 as against Rs 39 crore in Q3FY22. EBITDA stood at Rs 153 crore as against Rs 115 crore last year.

For the 9-month period ending December 2022, the company’s bookings grew 77% YoY to Rs 8,181 crore.

Pirojsha Godrej, executive-chairman, Godrej Properties, said, “The two highlights in the third quarter were that the company registered its best ever quarter for both sales bookings and business development. This leaves us well positioned to surpass our FY 23 bookings guidance of 10,000 crore and to sharply grow on this base in the years ahead.”

“Residential real estate demand in India has remained strong and we believe the cyclical upturn in the sector will gain further momentum in the years ahead, providing significant opportunities for leading developers to participate in sectoral growth while also gaining market share,” he added.
