Aikyashree scholarship: Eligibility requirements, application, status

Students of minority faiths (Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, and Jain) who have shown academic excellence are encouraged to apply for a scholarship via the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) website. With the help of this program, deserving students from low-income backgrounds may get bachelor’s or master’s degrees in technical or professional fields. Applications may only be submitted online via the Aikyashree official scholarship site at https://wbmdfcscholarship.org. All applicants must prove that they are Indian nationals with a current address in West Bengal.

Aikyashree WBMDFC scholarship eligibility requirements:

Only those who call West Bengal home will be considered.
There must have been a minimum of a 50% mark on the student’s most recent test for them to be considered successful (except for class 1).
A student may apply to any organisation for a scholarship.
The students taking courses online or via other forms of distance education are not eligible.
Only one application may be registered with a given cell phone number. However, only two pre-matriculation scholarship applications per cellphone number will be accepted.
A printout of the online application, together with a self-declaration of the applicant’s yearly family income and a photocopy of the applicant’s bank passbook showing the account number and IFSC code, must be sent to the relevant institution once an online application has been submitted.

Aikyashree scholarship: Application process

This is great news for all the students in West Bengal who are struggling to pay for college. Many scholarships for students from low-income and socially disadvantaged backgrounds have been made available by the West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation (WBMDFC). Every year, a new version of the Aikyashree Scholarship 2022 Portal is made available, along with a new set of scholarship opportunities based on the categories in which applicants fall and the courses in which they want to major.

Incoming freshmen may apply for the Aikyashree Scholarship using the fresh online application form, while current students can renew their enrollment with the online renewal form 2022. Once the scholars list for the Aikyashree Scholarship 2022 has been made public, the award money will be added to each recipient’s student account immediately.
