HDFC scholarship offers six scholarships and helps deserving and needy students in completing their future studies.

As a component of its flagship programme, the Education Crisis Scholarship, HDFC Bank has developed a special scholarship under the name “HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS scholarship” (ECS). The award is designed to assist deserving and needy students in classes from sixth grade to graduate and professional studies. 

The programme offers six distinct scholarship kinds, each of which is awarded after taking into account the applicant’s financial need and/or personal/family hardship (merit-cum-means based). In addition to the six scholarships:

HDFC scholarship: Requirements

Candidates must meet specific qualifying requirements in order to be eligible for this scholarship programme. Details about the requirements that determine who is eligible to apply for this HDFC scholarship are provided below.

 

ECS scholarship program for students at HDFC Bank Parivartan (Merit-cum-means based)

  •       Indian children who are presently enrolled in Class 6 through 12 in a private, public, or government-aided school are eligible to apply for the HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship in School Program (Merit-Cum-Means Based).
  •       They have to receive at least a 55% on their prior qualifying exam in order to qualify.
  •       Minimum annual household income of Rs 2.5 lakh is required (2,50,000).

 

Beyond-school scholarship program of HDFC Bank Parivartan (Merit-cum-means based)

  •       Indian students taking non-professional courses like BA, BCom, MA, MCom, etc. at the undergraduate or graduate level in accredited institutions or universities are eligible for the HDFC bank Parivartan’s ECS scholarship beyond school programme (Merit-Cum-Means based).
  •       Students who are enrolled in Diploma/Polytechnic programmes after finishing grades 10 or 12 may also apply.
  •       They have to receive at least a 55% on their prior qualifying exam in order to qualify.
  •       Minimum annual household income of Rs 2.5 lakh is required (2,50,000).

 

Scholarship program for professional education at HDFC Bank Parivartan (Merit-cum-means based)

  •       Indian students who are pursuing professional courses like BBA, BTech, BCA, MBBS, MBA, MCA, MTech, etc. at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in accredited colleges or universities in India are eligible for the HDFC bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship professional education programme (Merit-cum-means based).
  •       They have to receive at least a 55% on their prior qualifying exam in order to qualify.
  •       Minimum annual household income of Rs 2.5 lakh is required (2,50,000).

  •       Open to Indian students enrolled in private, public, or government-aided schools in grades 6 through 12.
  •       They must be dealing with a recent personal or family catastrophe that has made it impossible for them to continue paying for their education and puts them in danger of dropping out.

  •       Indian students who are studying non-professional courses like BA, BCom, MA, MCom, etc. at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in accredited institutions or universities are eligible for the HDFC bank Parivartan’s ECS scholarship beyond school programme (need-based).

Students who meet the required qualifying requirements and meet the selection standards are given financial support for their future studies of up to Rs 75,000. Stage 1: Applications are whittled down based on academic merit, financial necessity, or a personal or family disaster.

Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by telephone, and the results will serve as the basis for the final decision.

HDFC Scholarship: Important dates for the HDFC Scholarship in 2023

From March through July, the HDFC Scholarship application period is available. The deadline to submit an application for the HDFC Bank Scholarship 2023 is July 31, 2023. All students who qualify for the scholarship must thus submit their applications by the deadline alone.
