How to book appointment for Aadhaar?

Those who have yet to apply for Aadhaar can book an online appointment to visit Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASK) to get started. This appointment booking facility can also be used to update various details on your existing Aadhaar card. You can book an Aadhaar appointment for:

• Fresh Aadhaar enrolment
• Name Update
• Address update
• Mobile number update
• Email ID update
• Date of birth update
• Gender update
• Biometric (photo + fingerprints + Iris) update

How to book an appointment at ASK centre online?

Step 1: Copy and paste the following link in your browser to reach the official UIDAI website:

https://uidai.gov.in/en/

Step 2:  Scroll down and you will see the Get Aadhaar section. In this section, you will find the Book an Appointment option. Click on it.

Step 3:  On the next page, select your city and an ASK centre from the dropdown list. After this, click on Proceed to Book Appointment.

Step 4:  On the next page, select the Aadhaar update option if you want to update. To apply for a new Aadhaar, select the New Aadhaar option. Now, provide your mobile number, enter the captcha and click on Generate OPT option.

Step 5:  Enter the 6-digit OPT in the required field and click on Verify OPT.

Step 6:  After this a detailed form will open, asking you to fill appointment details, personal details and time-slot details.

Step 7:  Submit the form after filing all the details.  You appointment at the nearest authorised ASK centre will be booked and the time slot will be shared with you on your registered mobile number.
