Way to make slime at home #1
Ingredients
- White glue/clear glue: One cup
- Baking soda: One tablespoon
- Lens cleaner: One tablespoon
- Food colour: Eight to 10 drops
- Sequins: One packet
Method
- In a bowl, take a full cup of white glue.
- Add baking soda and start mixing all contents in the bowl. You can alter the contents depending on the slime consistency you want.
- Next, add food colour and mix it properly without lump.
- Add a tablespoon of lens cleaner (contact lens cleaning solution) to this mixture. Mix the dough properly. The sodium borate, or boric acid present in the lens solution helps in attaining the sticky, slimly feature.
- You can add glitter and sequins to this dough.
- Knead the dough well with your hands and add more drops of the lens cleaner if you feel the consistency is too sticky.
- Store this batch in an air-tight container.
- Note, if you want transparent looking slime, use transparent glue instead of white glue. Using white glue results in opaque slime while using glue results in transparent slime.
