It provides service to over 4.97 million customers spread out over five districts in Andhra Pradesh. The firm has undertaken the distribution and bulk supply of electricity to the districts of Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, and Vizianagaram, as well as the districts of East and West Godavari, and 20 divisions of coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Steps to pay APEPDCL bill online

  • On the homepage, go to the “Customers” section and move the mouse on the “Payment Related” option. 
  • Click on “Pay Bill Online”.  

  • Enter the service number and captcha and click on View. 

  • Select the online payment link. 
  • Choose the payment method to successfully pay the APEPDCL bill online. 

 Customers can pay their electric bills conveniently through the APEPDCL online bill payment system, which supports a variety of payment methods such as debit cards, credit cards, cash, internet banking, mobile payments, prepaid cards, wallets, and UPI. Customers can pay their bills using any of these methods.

Steps to pay APEPDCL bill online without login 

  • Click the quick link “ Pay Bill Online” on the home page. 

  • You can pay the bill with a wide range of options available including mobile payments, UPI, and wallets.  

  • Either click on the green box which guides you to make the payment through PayUMoney or Billdesk.  

  • Enter SCNO/Mobile Number/Aadhar Number to successfully pay your bill without login.  

  • Or click on the UPI portals such as Paytm.  

  • Enter your consumer number to successfully pay without logging in.

  1. i) Application form that has been filled out and signed, together with a signed statement and some identification (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Ration Card, and Driving Licence).
  2. ii) Will, deed, or any other legal instrument would suffice.
  3. Proof of Ownership (anyone)

Steps to apply for new connection 

  • On the homepage, go to the “Customers” section and move the mouse on the new connection.  

  • Click on “LT New Request Registration” 
  • You will be redirected to a new page. 

  • On the left-hand side column, click on “LT New Connection”. 

  • A new page will open which will ask you to answer in “Yes” or “No” whether the nearest electric pole is within 30 metres of the premises or not.  

  • After entering the input, fill in all the details to successfully get your consumer number on the next page.  

 

Filling out new application: Tips 

  • Ensure that the information you provide is fully accurate before submitting it.
  • The applicant will be completely accountable for any information that is either missing or wrong.
  • The applicant is asked to make a note of the request-id so that the application may be tracked in the future.
  • Your inquiry will be sent to the appropriate APEPDCL field office after the relevant closest consumer number has been provided. 
  • Both a mobile phone number and an email address are required.
  • Any claims for a refund that are made after the payment transaction has been processed will not be considered.

Steps to apply for solar rooftop 

  • On the homepage go to the “Customers” section and hover the mouse on the new connection. 
  • Click on “LT New Request Registration”  

  • You will be redirected to a new page. 

  • On the left-hand side column, hover your mouse to the solar rooftop and click on “registration”  

 

  • Enter your service number and captcha to successfully apply for a solar rooftop. 

 

Steps to register complaint in APEPDCL 

  • On the homepage, go to the “Customers” section and move the mouse to the payment-related tab. 
  • Click on “Register A Complaint”  
  • To register the complaint enter your 16 or 18-digit digital consumer service number. 

  • You can also view the status of the complaint by clicking on the link on the same page. 

 

Steps to download APEPDCL mobile app 

The APEPDCL app is only available on the Android Play Store. To download: 

  • Go to the Google play store. 
  • Type “Eastern Power” 
  • Simply select the first application that shows up. 
  • Click on “install” to successfully download the app.  

 

APEPDCL WhatsApp services 

To avail of APEPDCL services through WhatsApp, send “hi” or “hello” or “start” to 8500001912 from the registered mobile number. These are the services which can be availed through WhatsApp from the comfort of your mobile device.

Steps to pay APEPDCL bill offline

You can pay the bill in cash, by check, or with a demand draft by going to the APEPDCL office or branch that is located closest to you.

Penalties if bill not paid on time

  • Customers are allowed a grace period of 15 calendar days (counting the day on which they were billed) to settle their payments.
  • Beyond another 15 days, payment can be made by paying an additional charge.07 paisa per Rupee every day; however, the service will be terminated after that point, and reconnection fees will be charged. 
  • If the customer does not pay the bill within thirty days of the date it was sent to them, the customer will be responsible for a fee of 1.25 % each month.
  • After being disconnected from the service, the customer can get it reconnected. If the customer received LT services, payment must be made at ERO, and if the customer received HT services, payment must be made at HT Revenue Unit.
  • After four months after the customer’s disconnection, the service will be subject to removal and termination after an evaluation of the available security deposit (with one month’s notice).
