The New Delhi Municipal Corporation, often known as the NDMC, is one of the five municipal corporations that make up the city of Delhi. Online payment of NDMC power bills is made available to customers as a service designed to make paying bills hassle-free.

Methods to pay the NDMC electricity bill

If you live within the boundaries of the NDMC, then you are eligible to pay your NDMC power bill using one of the many available digital payment options. You can  choose any one of the convenient payment options that is provided by the website. You have the option of paying the bill with either cash, a check, or a debit or credit card.

Steps to pay NDMC electricity bill online 

The following are the steps required to make a payment on your account using the official NDMC website:

  • Simply choose “Pay Electricity Bill” from the drop-down menu. You’ll find the choice under the menu item titled “Electricity.” 

  • Enter your consumer number.  

    • Simply hit the “Submit” button.
  • To pay the bill, go to the next page and follow the instructions for successful payment.

 

Steps to pay NDMC electricity bill offline

You can make an offline payment by going to the NDMC office that is located closest to you. When you go to the office, make sure to have the power bill with you. You will be sent a receipt when the bill has been paid in full. The bill can be paid using a variety of different methods, including cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards.

Documents for permanent/ temporary electric connection 

  • ID proof of the consumer
  • Proof to establish legal occupancy (anyone)
  • A copy of the most recent receipt for the paid home tax.
  • A copy of the sale deed that has been registered.
  • Copy of the most recent paid home tax receipt, a copy of the licence deed, lease agreement, or rental agreement, as well as a copy of the NOC issued by the Land Board.
