October 9, 2023: Seven Navi Mumbai developers have been booked for carrying out construction works in Turbhe without the permission of the Navi Mumbai civic authorities, mention media reports. Illegal construction works on seven Turbhe locations have been going on since August.
As per the reports, the police registered a case under the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning (MRTP) Act, after receiving a complaint from a Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) official.
While no arrests have been made, the police are investigating the case.
