By looking at our suggestions, you can enhance your vacation at Kas Pathar Satara.

Kaas plateau: How to reach?

It’s simple to travel by air, rail, or road to reach Mumbai or Pune, but getting to the valley of flowers is the real challenge.

The best way to reach here is either by car or bus.

Local transportation services, however, are infrequent and may take longer than usual. The Kaas plateau is easily accessible by auto-rickshaw for those travelling from Satara.

Kaas lake

The stunning Kaas lake is located just beyond the Kaas plateau. This lake is among the most picturesque places nearby because mountains and hills surround it. You can leave your cars parked on the road and walk to the lake. Some snacks, soft drinks, and chatai will make for a perfect picnic by the lake!

The more daring visitors can even go on a brisk hike on the nearby Kaas plateau, taking in the scenery and savouring the escape from the city’s bustle in a brand-new way. A word of caution: even though it’s not against the law, swimming in the lake could be risky.

Vajrai waterfall

A lengthy trip to the Vajrai waterfall is worthwhile if you visit the Kaas plateau and the lake. A muddy road from the Kaas village leads to the falls. The impressive three-stepped Vajrai waterfall is visible from a distance if you park your cars in the Kaas village and then take the trail that leads to the end of the road that overlooks the valley. Seeing the entire valley, the waterfall, and the low, floating clouds is truly magical. It is best to observe the waterfall from a distance. Please refrain from making the trek down the cliff or even to the waterfall’s beginning.
