The Kathipara Bridge was constructed in 2008 and the project was around Rs 500 crore.  One of the largest cloverleaf flyovers in Asia, Kathipara Bridge is renowned for its size. With a total of eight ramps on three levels, it can accommodate more than 2,00,000 vehicles daily. The bridge is a local landmark and a tourist attraction for its distinctive design.

  • Construction: The cloverleaf interchange includes ramps that let cars turn left without having to cross traffic. It is divided into three levels, with Mount-Poonamallee Road on the lower level and the Grand Southern Trunk Road, the Inner Ring Road, and the Southern Trunk Road, respectively, on the upper level.
