June 7, 2024: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority’s Konkan unit known as the Konkan Housing and Area Development Board (KHADB) has organised a camp for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) registration from June 5 to June 14 at the various project sites, mentions a FPJ report. This is to help people who have bought houses from Konkan Board under the PMAY scheme and have not yet completed the registration.
The camp is held at sites including Khopoli-Kalyan, Shirdhaun, Bhandarli, Gothewadi-Thane and Bolinj-Virar.
As per the report, the Konkan Board has told beneficiaries who have participated in 2018, 2021, 2023 and 2024 to complete their PMAY attachment during this time period.
Documents required to complete PMAY attachment
- Aadhaar card
- PAN card
- Aadhaar card of spouse (if married)
- PAN card of parents (if unmarried)
- Copy of the applicant’s bank passbook or cheque book
- Copy of the temporary allotment letter provided by the Board.
Note that it is mandatory for people who buy Mhada houses under the PMAY scheme to complete the registration to avail the subsidies offered by the centre and the state government.
