February 2, 2024: Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde has ordered the City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) to issue all the pending occupancy certificates (OC), conveyance and society formation no-objection certificate (NOCs) to all the ready constructed buildings and allow flat transfers.
“Recovery of Maveja/ALP will no longer be linked to the issuance of occupancy certificates, conveyance NOCs or transfer of flats,” mentioned the government statement.
Additionally, the official statement mentioned that for all those projects that could not be developed within the deadline for construction, will be given a 50% amnesty on the amount of Maveja and ALP payable.These property owners have to pay only half the Maveja and ALP dues till March 31, 2023.
