Maha govt grants 50% waiver in premium for cluster development

This waiver is applicable for one year.

June 5, 2023: In a move to encourage cluster redevelopment in Mumbai, the Maharashtra government has granted a 50% waiver in premium that developers have to pay for cluster development. Applicable for a year, this will be for all schemes under Regulation 33 (9) of the Development Control and Promotional regulations. This waiver is applicable for one year and is intended to give the developer fraternity a push to submit plans for approval quickly.

Maha CM to launch cluster development scheme in Thane on June 5, 2023

A cluster development scheme at Kisan Nagar, Thane, will be launched on June 5, 2023, by Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

To be designed like townships, the redevelopment project will be executed by City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco). Each occupant will get a house of 323 sqft. To manage the cluster development scheme operations, a cluster redevelopment office has been constructed at Kashish Park near Teen Hath Naka.
