In Marathi, land surveying is referred to as mojani. It refers to an accepted land measurement, whereas Emojani refers to an electronically approved land measurement.

About Mojani 

There was no such thing as a land registry in existence under either the Mughal or the Peshwa periods. The British government decided to establish some kind of disciplinary system to facilitate the process of collecting taxes and running the government more efficiently. The record of all of the talukas, villages, and districts was compiled for the very first time then. The mojani procedure, which mostly consisted of measurements with the help of cone chains, served as how the land surveying was executed.

Emojani Maharashtra is called Emojani bhumi abhilekh in Marathi because it is controlled by the agency responsible for maintaining land records. This is the procedure for applying for Emojani on Emojani bhumi abhilekh (Emojani Maharashtra). 

• Visit Emojani Maharashtra’s official website.  
• To get access to the website, enter your username and password or register for an account by entering your name, phone number, email address, and address if you didn’t already.
• Choose Emojani from the menu drop-down. You must next fill out the application form with your name, address, land details, and contact information. A district, taluka, and village must be selected. Complete the form and attach any relevant documents.

• Visit Emojani Maharashtra’s official website. 

• Check the status of your application for Mojani.
• Choose specifics from the drop-down menu, such as district, taluka, and village.
• Enter your mobile number for your Peacock number. You may also find the application’s status by providing its number and year. 

• Click Check Counting Status after entering the captcha. 
• A new screen will appear with information on the progress of your application.

E mojani: Steps to apply for mojani offline 

• You may visit your local Taluka office or the Town Survey Officer.
• Go to the appropriate individual and provide RoR (7/12) of the land that has to be surveyed.
• Once the necessary paperwork has been provided, the headquarters staff will create a challan for the enumeration fees and provide it to the applicant.
• Now, you must pay fees to the State Bank of India’s treasury or treasury branch.
• After payment has been paid, the office will submit an enumeration application together with the RoR (7/12) and Emojani payment receipt.
• The application will now be sent to the land surveyor. Later, the surveyor will submit a notice for enumeration that includes the survey date.
• On the day of the survey, the interviewer will visit the site and count original records. The surveyor will then duplicate the papers and submit them to the office.

• If the account holder is present in the office with their Records of Rights (RoR) (7/12) and account information, their enumeration will be recorded on the desktop computer. In addition, the account holder will get an e mojani invoice or receipt for 3,000 at that time.
