MCM scholarship: Merit cum Means Scholarship for BPL students, Kerala

This MCM scholarship is offered by the State Government of Kerala. It is intended for those deserving Kerala students with a household income below the minimum poverty threshold. The students who are chosen to participate in this merit-based scholarship program are provided with financial aid so that they may finish their education. MCM scholarship: Open Merit Scholarships for EBC Students, Maharashtra

This MCM scholarship is open to exceptionally bright students who originate from families with lower incomes and is provided by the Department of School Education and Literacy, which falls within the Ministry of Human Resource Development. 

This national scholarship is designed to motivate students to continue their studies after completing the secondary level to minimise the number of students who do not complete their secondary education. Additionally, the students must participate in the selection process by attending the exam administered in each state and territory. The candidate has to be a student in class 9, have received at least 55% of the possible points in classes 8 and 7, with a 5% mark reduction for applicants from SC/ST groups, and have a household income that does not exceed Rs 1.5 Lakh annually.

MCM scholarship: Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Minorities, West Bengal

This MCM scholarship is intended for those deserving students from West Bengal who are members of a disadvantaged social class. This MOMA Scholarship is made available by the Ministry of Minority. Students from underprivileged backgrounds who have shown academic excellence and who belong to a minority group are eligible for financial assistance as part of a national scholarship program. MCM scholarship: AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls

This national award was established to provide financial support to deserving female students pursuing degrees in technical fields. September and October are peak times for this AICTE scholarship. This scholarship program awards a total of 4,000 scholarships to deserving students each year. Anyone interested in applying for this scholarship must do so via AICTE’s website.

Eligibility criteria

The applicant needs to be a female student who is currently enrolled in the first year of a diploma or degree program at an AICTE-accredited school for the current academic year. Additionally, the applicant’s family’s yearly income is less than 8 lakh Indian rupees (Rs).

Award Details

Those who are selected to get this scholarship will have their tuition covered to the tune of 30,000 Indian Rupees (Rs) or the actual sum of their tuition, whichever is lower.

 

MCM scholarship: Mukhya Mantri Hamari Beti Yojna, Rajasthan

This state scholarship is provided by the Government of Rajasthan and is intended for deserving and financially disadvantaged female students who are residents of the state of Rajasthan. As part of this MCM scholarship program, an outstanding group of students from each of Rajasthan’s districts will compete for the opportunity to earn financial aid to pursue higher education.

MCM scholarship: Merit-cum-Means Minority Scholarship Scheme, Haryana

Students from marginalised areas are eligible for the Merit Cum Means Scholarship, which provides them with financial help so that they may enrol in a professional or technical program. MCM scholarship: Bhajan Lal Scholarship details

This merit-based scholarship, which was established by the Bhajan Global Impact Foundation (BGIF), is a nationwide scholarship program that provides need-based and performance-based students with the financial assistance necessary to enable them to continue their studies.   • Students who want to major in CA or CS must have a household income that does not exceed Rs 4.5 lakh per year and attain a grade point average of 80% or above in class 12 arts, commerce, or science.
  • Those students who dropped out of school and have a household income of at least Rs 4.5 Lakh per year and want to attend a vocational course to improve their employability.

MCM scholarship: Foundation for Excellence Scholarship

This nationwide scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving and financially disadvantaged students who are enrolled in either medical or engineering programs. MCM scholarship: Vijayalakshmi R.L. Jalappa Scholarship

This scholarship, which a trust provides with its headquarters in Bengaluru, has as its primary goal the provision of financial assistance to deserving and financially disadvantaged students so that these individuals may continue their studies at a higher level. This scholarship is primarily intended for college-bound students who are residents of Bengaluru or the surrounding area. To be considered for this scholarship, the candidate must demonstrate compliance with the following qualifying requirements:

  1. The applicant must be a member of the Arya Idiga community and a resident of Bangalore Rural,  Bangalore Urban, Chikkaballapura, Tumkur, Ramanagara, Kolar, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Mandya, Mysore, Chitradurga, Davanagere, or Bellary district.
  2. The applicant’s family must be a BPL card holder, and he or she must be enrolled in, or have completed, one of the following levels of education: PUC, Diploma, ITI, Bachelor’s, or Master’s.

MCM scholarship: Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme

This merit-based scholarship will provide up to 50,000 Indian Rupees (Rs) to outstanding and financially disadvantaged students who have completed the 12th grade. Obtaining the registration form, filling it out, and sending it to the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation office through email or post are the three steps involved in the application process for those interested.

MCM scholarship: IndusInd Foundation Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

This national scholarship  provides financial assistance of up to 1,500 Indian Rupees (Rs) a month to students from low-income families who have successfully completed the 12th grade and have been accepted into a regular college degree program. To register for a scholarship, students must bring the application form, which they have already filled out, to the IndusInd Foundation office.

Eligibility criteria

Students who have graduated from class 12 during the current school year with an aggregate score of at least 85% are required to have already enrolled in a regular degree program at an Indian institution that has been officially recognised.

MCM scholarship: North South Foundation (NSF) Scholarship

Students who have completed class 12 and shown exceptional academic achievement can apply for this scholarship from the North South Foundation (NSF). Students who are interested in pursuing a career in either engineering or medicine or who are pursuing a three-year polytechnic diploma in engineering are eligible for the advantages of this scholarship program. Students whose family annual income does not exceed Rs 90,000 and who are among the top 100 per cent in class 10 and 12 and the CET/JET ranking in their individual states and who have been admitted to a degree programme like Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Vocational school, B.Sc (Agriculture), B.V.Sc., etc. at a govt or govt-aided college are eligible to apply.

MCM scholarship documents required

To participate in the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship program, applicants and students are required to submit the following papers to the NSP: 

  • Form of verification provided by the appropriate Institution.
  • Certificate of Income provided by the Appropriate Authority.
  • If the student/applicant is at least 18 years old, a self-certified community certificate.
  • The grade sheet for the final qualifying test at the high school or college level.
  • Receipt of course fees for the current academic year.
  • Bank account number of the student with the bank branch’s IFSC Code.
  • Residence or Domicile Certificate.
  • A student’s Aadhaar number is required.

Bank’s name

The students are responsible for selecting their own bank and branch name with great care from the drop-down selection.

Next, provide the correct account number, bank name, address, and IFSC Code.

Disclaimer 

You must be aware that the likelihood of a student’s scholarship being revoked increases significantly in the event that they provide inaccurate banking information. The money will not be sent to their bank account even if the applicant’s scholarship request is granted. This is the case regardless of whether or not their application was successful.

KYC

A successful candidate will have finished their “Know your Customer” (KYC) procedure. If you haven’t already, get in touch with the branch of your choice where you have your bank account.

Account holder

The only person whose name should appear on the bank account is the student or applicant. No other caretaker or account holder of any kind would be permitted to get access.
