How does the Mhada e-auction work?
The Mhada board that has shops and plots for sale floats e-auction advertisements. This is followed by property details (land/shops), including the base price, the application form amount, the earnest money deposit to be paid, the bidding amount and the important dates.

How to register with the Mhada e-auction?
Click on bidder registration. Enter login details and all the required details.
Fill in bidder details, click on submit and proceed.
How to participate in the Mhada e-auction?
After registration, log on to the Mhada e-auction portal. On the dashboard you can see details, such as all the auctions, live auctions, closed auctions, my auctions, EMD paid auctions and submitted auctions.
After you select a scheme, pay the EMD. Upload the caste certificate in PDF format.
You will get the EMD payment acknowledgement.
Place the initial auction bid. Enter the bid amount and click on save. You will get an acknowledgement and the result will be mentioned on the auction opening date.

Mhada to issue provisional offer letters for 173 units across Mumbai
Starting July 10,2024, the Mhada will start issuing provisional offer letters to the successful bidders of the Mhada e-auction for 173 commercial units across Mumbai.
Bidders can get a NOC to secure loans for these units after paying 10% of the bid amount. On full payment of the bid amount, the Mhada Board will issue allotment letters and hand over possession of the units.
Mhada gives bidders a time period of of ten days to accept the winning unit. The Mumbai Board had announced the e-auction for 173 non-residential units on March 01, 2024 and the results were declared on June 28, 2024.
According to an official statement, for 112 units, 604 bidders participated by depositing the required earnest money. However, 61 units did not receive any bids. The Mhada Board had set a base price of Rs 97.74 crore for the 112 units, with the total bids reaching Rs 171.38 crore for the 112 units. The highest bid recorded was Rs 13.94 crore for a single unit.
