Mumbai, August 29, 2024: A price reduction of 10-25% on 370 houses has been announced by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority’s (MHADA) Mumbai Board Lottery 2024.
The 370 apartments, which were acquired through redevelopment projects under DCR 33(5), 33(7) and 58, will now be available at significantly reduced prices. Housing Minister Atul Save detailed the reductions- a 25% cut for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 20% for the Low-Income Group (LIG), 15% for the Middle-Income Group (MIG), and 10% for the High-Income Group (HIG). The revised prices will be made available on the official MHADA website.
Also, to encourage more citizens to participate in the Mhada Mumbai Lottery 2024, the last date to file the online application has been extended till September 19, 2024. The date for the lottery draw will be announced shortly.
Additionally, Mhada also launched its mascot Shri and Shrimati Nivasi that will help citizens understand and navigate MHADA’s procedures.
MHADA VP and CEO, Sanjeev Jaiswal (IAS), said, “This mascot will guide people regarding MHADA’s schemes, offering friendly advice on housing-related issues and acting as a reliable companion in their journey. In the future, chatbox technology will also be integrated into MHADA’s mascot system.”
