Water taxi service ‘Nayan XI’ from Navi Mumbai’s Belapur Jetty to Gateway of India commenced operations on February 7, 2023. Dadaji Bhuse, minister for Ports Development, Maharashtra inaugurated the service from Belapur Jetty. With this water taxi, travel time between Belapur and Gateway of India will be reduced to less than an hour.

There are two trips that the water taxi will make in a day. In the morning, the water taxi ‘NayanXI’ will start from Belapur jetty at 8.30 am and will reach Gateway of India at 9.25 am. In the evening, the water taxi will start from Gateway of India at 6.30 pm and reach Belapur at 7.30 pm. The water taxi is available Monday to Friday and is not available during Saturday and Sunday.
