NBCC gets contracts worth Rs 450 cr in Kerala, Chhattisgarh

NBCC has been awarded contracts worth Rs 450 crore by the Court Receiver of the Supreme Court.

May 9, 2024: The state-owned real estate developer and management consultancy NBCC has secured contracts totaling Rs 450 crore in Chhattisgarh and Kerala. In an official filing, NBCC disclosed that it has been awarded contracts worth Rs 450 crore by the Court Receiver of the Supreme Court of India.

In Chhattisgarh’s Bhilai District, NBCC has secured a contract valued at Rs 250 crore for the Amrapali Vananchal City project. Additionally, in Kerala’s Ernakulam District, specifically Aluva, NBCC has obtained a contract worth Rs 150 crore for the Amrapali Cosmos project.

Following the directives of the Supreme Court, the Amrapali Stalled Projects Investments Reconstruction Establishment (ASPIRE) was established to oversee the completion of stalled projects of Amrapali, with NBCC (India) entrusted to execute the task. The mandate for NBCC involves completing 38,000 flats and delivering them to the homebuyers as per the court’s instructions.
