NH 67: Route and major places

NH 67 is a major highway in South India that stretches from Ramnagar in Karnataka to Krishnapatnam Port in Andhra Pradesh. At Ramnagar, it joins with the Belgaum-Panaji Road, thereby connecting the highway to Goa as well.

Starting at Ramnagar, it spans a distance of 374 km and covers Dharwad, Hubballi, Gadag, Koppal, Hosapete and Ballari in Karnataka. It then enters Andhra Pradesh where it covers Guntakal, Gooty, Jammalamadugu, Proddatur, Mydukur, Badvel, Marripadu, and Nellore before terminating at Krishnapatnam Port, spanning a distance of 396 km.

NH 67 is also connected to various other places with the help of junctions. Here is the list of highways that form junctions with NH 67:

NH 748

At Ramnagar, NH 67 joins NH 748 passing through. It is an important highway as it stretches from Belgaum to Panaji, thereby linking Karnataka with the Goa’s capital city.

NH 167B

NH 167B and NH 67 join each other to form a junction near Mydukur in Andhra Pradesh. This highway covers a major part of Andhra Pradesh, starting at Mydukur and ending at Singarayakonda and covering several places in between.

NH 16

NH 16 joins NH 67 near Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. This is a major highway that traverses across four states, namely West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, thereby connecting the east of the country to the south. It starts at Bengal’s capital Kolkata and ends at Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu.
