May 17, 2023: Real estate developer Oberoi Realty on May 16, 2023, announced its financial results for the January-March quarter (Q4) and the financial year ended March 31, 2023 (FY23). The company recorded revenue of over Rs 995 crore for Q4FY23 as against nearly Rs 843 crore in Q4FY22. Revenue for FY23 increased to Rs 4,293.20 crore from Rs 2,752.42 crore in FY22. Oberoi Realty’s EBITDA ( earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) grew from Rs 371.25 crore in Q4 FY22 to Rs 402.38 crore in Q4 FY23. The EBITDA for FY23 stood at over Rs 2,212 crore as against nearly Rs 1,240 for FY22.
The company’s profit before tax (PBT) for Q4 FY23 stood at Rs 390.68 crore as against Rs 330.78 crore for Q4 FY22. PBT for FY23, on the other hand, increased from Rs 1,353.58 crore in FY22 to Rs 2,223.88 crore. Oberoi Realty’s profit after tax (PAT) for Q4 FY23 increased from Rs 232.78 crore in Q4 FY22 to Rs 480.16 crore. Moreover, the PAT for FY23 stood at Rs 1,903.93 crore as against Rs 1,047.87 crore for FY22.
Vikas Oberoi, CMD, Oberoi Realty, said, “Despite global headwinds, the domestic tailwinds have given a huge boost to the residential sector. Demand for housing has continued to grow, driven by the aspiration of continued home ownership by end users. Industry consolidation has led to incremental market share gains for organised players.”
