To complete this PM Kisan KYC beneficiary identification process, PM Kisan beneficiaries have to provide their Aadhaar number and link it with their PM Kisan credentials. This can be done both online and offline.

What is PM Kisan scheme?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan), a Central sector scheme, aims at providing financial assistance to cultivable landholding farmer families, subject to certain exclusion criteria. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 6,000 is transferred annually in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 directly into the Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of the farmers.

Under the scheme, more than Rs 2.42 lakh crore has been disbursed to over 11 crore beneficiary farmer families through 13 installments. The government is likely to announce the 14th instalment in July.
