Panvel Airport: Impacts on real estate

Panvel Airport, also known as the Navi Mumbai International Airport, will develop a whole aerocity environment around it. The Navi Mumbai Aeropolis will stimulate the local economy and provide thousands of new employment possibilities. THe real estate in Panvel and other Navi Mumbai areas such as Kharghar, Ulwe, Uran etc.are the airport’s main beneficiaries. There may be a price increase of 10% to 15% if the airport is operational. The airport will benefit Panvel, Ulwe, Kamothe, Kharghar, and Taloja, the main micro-markets.

Navi Mumbai will see mostly greenfield construction, in contrast to Mumbai. The proposed infrastructure development will include sewers, pathways, broad roadways and adequate drainage.

The airport will open the door for Panvel to become one of Navi Mumbai’s commercial hubs. The state-of-the-art facilities and seamless connection between the airport and other city sections would attract multinational corporations and early-stage startups to locate their operations in Panvel and the surrounding districts.

Even the costs for commercial real estate are lower in Panvel and the surrounding regions compared to other upscale neighbourhoods in Mumbai. The increased demand for commercial real estate in these areas may lead prices to soar once the airport operates.

The international airport and quickening business growth will also spur activity in the residential market. Moving to Panvel and surrounding suburbs for better prospects and a higher standard of living may attract an increasing number of individuals, including immigrants. This will raise the demand for residential properties that are both elegant and reasonably priced.

Buyers will choose residential developments like Marathon Nexzone because they provide magnificent and reasonably priced residences with views of the hills and valleys.  With open areas and recreational features like a swimming pool, clubhouse, gym, and running track, it offers 1, 2, and 2.5 BHK residences. The Navi Mumbai International Airport is 10 minutes away.
