May 31, 2023: Proper verification of detailed project reports and appropriate preparedness to crucial to minimise project delays, road and highways minister Nitin Gadkari said on May 30, 2023. This would also reduce construction cost and encourage use of environmentally sustainable materials, the minister added.
During a meeting with officials of the NHAI, Gadkari launched two mobile applications focussed on providing ease of commuting on national highways. He inaugurated RajmargYatra, a citizen-centric mobile application with in-built complaint system and NHAI One, a mobile app to facilitate crucial onsite requirements in execution of highway projects.
Stressing on providing citizen-centric services, the minister shared his vision on various aspects of highway development and encouraged NHAI officials to build a world-class road network in the country.
