RICS, AaRVF sign MoU to ‘elevate valuation standards’

The MoU unites the expertise of two well-known organisations.

September 15, 2023: The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Assessors and Registered Valuers Foundation (AaRVF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in the real estate valuation and professional development sector.

“The MoU between AaRVF and RICS India marks a notable collaboration in the real estate industry. This partnership promises to elevate valuation standards, facilitate knowledge sharing, and enhance professional development. It unites the expertise of two respected organisations, setting the stage for industry excellence and benefiting stakeholders across the sector. This MoU heralds a brighter future for real estate valuation in India,” the companies said in a joint statement.

Gurvinder Pal Singh Raina, senior public affairs officer at RICS, said: “RICS has a longstanding legacy of setting high standards in real estate and valuation. Collaborating with AARVF allows us to extend our knowledge and resources to a broader audience. We believe this MOU will facilitate knowledge exchange, enhance professional development, and contribute to the growth of the valuation profession in India.”

Saurabh Gupta, managing director at AaRVF, said: “This MoU opens up a world of possibilities for both organisations. AaRVF is committed to promoting excellence in the field of valuation, and by aligning with RICS, a globally renowned institution, we can tap into their expertise and best practices.
