The following steps must be taken in order to pay your bill using the official website of the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited:
- Visit the official portal of TSECL
- You will see an icon labelled “Pay Bill” on the homepage of the site.
- Click on ‘Pay Bill’ and you will be redirected to a new page.
- Now select ‘Quick Pay’.
- Now click on ‘Pay Your Electricity Bill Online.
- After entering the account number, simply click on “Submit”.
- Follow the steps on the next page to pay your electricity bill successfully.
Payment of the bill online cannot be made until the registration procedure has been finished.

- Visit the official portal of TSECL
- On the home page, you will see the “Apply New Connection” icon.
- Click on the icon, and you will be redirected to a new page.
- Now, under Consumer Login, select “ First Time Users Register”
- A new ‘Consumer Registration’ page will open.
- To successfully apply for the new connection, enter all relevant information carefully.
Documents required for new connection
The applicant only needed to provide two documents to establish a connection to the electricity network.
Document establishing ownership ( any of the following)
- Occupancy of premises requires an applicant who is not the owner to provide a certificate from the owner of the premises stating that they have no objections to the applicant occupying the premises.
- A copy of the lease deed or sale deed for the property
Memorandum of agreement/partnership deed ( any of the following)
- A partnership agreement and a signature authorisation in the name of the applicant are required.
- Memorandum of Articles of Association. Everyone who has a stake needs to follow the guidelines laid forth. Only Industry/Firm/Company is subject to the aforementioned requirement.
