Ambala-Narnaul Expressway: Impact
While significantly cutting traffic congestion and providing commuters with faster connectivity, the project reduces traffic on other expressways in the country. This highway helps travellers skip NCR while going to Jaipur, cutting the distance between Ambala and Jaipur to three hours from four hours.
‘This national highway will write a new chapter of development as it will prove to be a boon for the daily commuters. This will lead to a major diversion of the NCR traffic due to which the problem of pollution will be solved. Also, it will provide the shortest, fastest and safest route from Ambala to Kotputli on the Jaipur Highway and will accelerate the pace of all-around industrial and economic development of the entire Haryana state,’ Haryana deputy chief minister, Dushyant Chautala, said at the launch in August.
