Half the respondents in a survey by University Living say virtual tours are the best way to enhance the student housing experience. “This is primarily due to virtual tours offering a fair idea of the accommodation prior to the students booking and moving into the space,” the company said in a statement on April 18, 2023.
University Living, a leading global student housing platform, has released a report based on its recently conducted survey of over 1,000 respondents. Its poll provides insight into how technology can make the housing experience more seamless and convenient for students. In the poll, 39% of respondents felt that offering roommate-matching services would significantly improve their living situation. Further, the report also revealed that 6% of its survey respondents said that on-demand maintenance would go a long way in making their student housing experience better. Another 6% said that generative customer support is essential in upgrading their experience and making it more convenient.
