Employee’s Provident Fund, also commonly known as EPF, is a scheme first introduced by the Employee Provident Fund Organisation or EPFO. In this scheme, employees and employers add a part of their monthly salaries towards the PF fund. This fund is well known for building a corpus for retirement. Previously, the whole method was not wholly digitised, but with time, as the technology covers everything, nowadays, EPF details have their online presence. The company must register on the EPFO portal to avail of all the digital facilities. The Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India fully monitors this EPFO portal.
