By air: The nearest airport to the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park is the Pune Airport, which is approximately 15 kilometre (km) away.

By rail:  The nearest major railway station, located around 13 km away.

By road:  Katraj is well-connected by road to Pune city and other nearby towns. Regular buses and private taxis ply between the park and the city. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway provides easy access to the park for travellers coming from Mumbai.
