Yohan, Michelle Poonawalla acquire iconic Cuffe Parade Mansion

August 8, 2024: Billionaire industrialist Yohan Poonawalla and philanthropist, entrepreneur, design and architecture authority Michelle Poonawalla have added to their property portfolio a massive mansion in Cuffe Parade, South Mumbai. The standalone property spans approximately 30,000 sqft. Mansions in this area are typically priced between Rs 400-750 crore.

MYP Design Studio, under Michelle Poonawalla’s creative helm, will transform this mansion into the Poonawalla Mansion, the couple’s secondary residence, their primary home being Poonawalla House in Pune. This project will be a blend of historic grandeur and contemporary luxury. 

The mansion’s expansive footprint, encompasses a spacious ground, first and second floors and terraces, offering an unprecedented level of space and privacy. 

The mansion will showcase Michelle’s renowned art collection. Pieces from renowned artists as well as her own unique art and oil paintings will transform the residence into a private art gallery. Additionally, a part of Yohan Poonawalla’s vast collection of prized automobiles will be housed in their new acquisition.
