• Route: Spanning NH-27, the expressway will traverse from Seemalya Village, near Rajasthan’s Kota district, to Nanawa village in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district. On the east end, it will align with the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, running parallel to the Chambal River through Bhind, Gwalior, Morena, and Shivpuri.

• Connectivity: Towards the west end, an interchange will be constructed near Kota to facilitate a connection with the ongoing Delhi-Mumbai Expressway project.

• Travel time: The Agra-Gwalior Expressway is projected to significantly reduce travel time between Delhi and Gwalior, potentially bringing it down to four hours.

• Length: The total length of the expressway is planned to be 87 kilometre, providing a crucial link between these key cities.
