Real estate firm Ajmera Realty & Infra India Ltd recorded sales value of Rs 128 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year (Q3FY23), the company said in a regulatory filing on January 9, 2023.
This shows 19% incremental growth as compared to the Rs 108 crore in the same quarter the previous year. The company sold carpet area spanning 63, 595 sqft during the quarter as compared to 62,285 sqft in the same quarter last year.
For the nine months of this financial year, the company witnessed total annual sales value of Rs 694 crore which was 1.6 times as compared to Rs 431 crore collected in FY22 for the same period.
“Our sales registered exponential growth of 124% in value, and collection increased by 42% on a YoY basis for 9M FY23. We are overwhelmed by the fact that sales of Rs 694 crore in 9MFY23 have even surpassed that of FY21 at Rs 615 crore,” says Dhaval Ajmera, director, Ajmera Realty & Infra India.
“We will continue to focus on scaling our operations while maintaining a strong balance sheet. The Indian real estate market has been immune to market volatility and has been the most preferred asset class for investors irrespective of many ups and downs. A promising economic outlook will continue to encourage first time homebuyers. Residential real estate is poised for strong growth and the market will ride on factors such as innovation, digitization and customer experience,” Ajmera added.
