Akshay Kumar plans to buy childhood home his family rented for Rs 500

The actor plans to purchase the third floor of the house where he used to stay with his family.

April 9, 2024: in a recent interview on Ranveer Allahabadia’s YouTube channel, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar revealed that he intends to purchase the house that he and his family used to rent for Rs 500. During the interview, the actor shared that he wants to stay connected to his roots and often visits his school and childhood home.     

He said that he regularly visits his old house in Sion-Koliwada area in Mumbai and his old residence in Bandra East. He added that the building where he lived is being rebuilt now. He has plans to purchase the third floor of the house where he used to stay with his family. It is a two-bedroom flat that is under construction. The actor also shared his childhood memories related to the house.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar resides, with his wife Twinkle Khanna and children, in a luxurious house in Prime Beach building in Mumbai’s Juhu. It is one of the expensive Bollywood celebrity homes in India, which is worth Rs 80 crore. The actor also owns an apartment in Mumbai’s Khar, which he purchased for Rs 7.8 crore and holiday villa in Goa. Akshay Kumar also owns properties in Canada and Mauritius.
