In a move that would boost the connectivity net in Noida and tackle traffic congestion, authorities are planning to build a new expressway along the Yamuna River. The 32-kilometre New Noida Expressway will also improve connectivity with the Noida International Airport in Jewar— operations on the upcoming airport might start by June, with 75% construction work now over, say officials.
The new road project is in fact planned in view of the surge in traffic once the airport becomes operational. That might over-crowd the 25-km Noida Expressway that already sees traffic snarls during peak hours.

New Noida Expressway route
The proposed 32-km long New Noida Expressway along the Yamuna Pushta Road will serve as a bypass for the existing Noida Expressway. The expressway will span from Sector 94 near the Delhi border at Kalindi Kunj to Sector 150, in close proximity to Greater Noida, with a connectivity link to the Yamuna Expressway.
Traffic roundabouts are also planned at the two ends of the proposed expressway, one near the Kalinda Kunj Metro Station and the other near Sector 150 Noida.
The first roundabout will help commuters going to Delhi and Faridabad along the Yamuna Pushta Road. A cloverleaf interchange, the other will  give access to the Yamuna Expressway.

New Noida Expressway impact
The proposed expressway will not only provide an impetus to connectivity but also positively impact real estate in Noida. Residential sectors that would benefit directly from the upcoming expressway include Sector 128, Sector 135, Sector 150, Sector 151 and Sector 168 and Greater Noida.
