Noida-Greater Noida Expressway: Route and construction details

The Noida-Greater Noida Expressway route starts from Sector 16A (Film City) near Mahamaya flyover in Noida and reaches Pari Chowk in Greater Noida.

The Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is a 25-km, six-lane expressway, which connects Noida to Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The expressway project has been developed to ease traffic movement on the old Delhi-Agra National Highway (NH-2), which links Faridabad, Ballabhgarh and Palwal.

The Noida-Greater Noida Expressway route starts from Sector 16A (Film City) near Mahamaya flyover in Noida and ends at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida. The expressway covers several localities, including Sectors 16A, 44, 92 to 100, 105, 108, 124 to 137 and 142 to 168 in Noida.

Inaugurated in 2002, the Greater Noida Expressway has developed for Rs 400 crore. The expressway covers residential, institutional and commercial areas. Furthermore, there are sectors exclusively dedicated to special economic zones (SEZs).

The prices vary from Rs 350 per sq. ft to Rs 75,000 per sq. ft. If looking for rental properties, you will find options ranging from Rs 4,850 to Rs 87,000 per month.

Noida authority to decongest Noida-Greater Noida Expressway

The Noida Authority is taking measures to reduce traffic congestion on the 25-km Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, especially during peak hours in the morning and evening, according to officials. The authority plans to hire an agency to perform a thorough study and offer solutions to reduce the congestion. Several stretches of the Noida Expressway such as Mahamaya Floyover to Kalindi Kunj and Mahamaya Floyover to DND or Mayur Vihar experience heavy traffic, causing delays for commuters.
