Chembur’s infrastructure has evolved rapidly, with the construction of the monorail and the proposed metro line in the area. The region enjoys regular electricity and water supply. There are many good institutes, schools and colleges in Chembur. The area also enjoys close proximity to Dadar, Kurla, Matunga and Worli. Chembur’s location makes it suitable for all class of home buyers.

Civic facilities: Although the area has a drainage system in place, there could be water logging in some places during heavy rain; roads have moderate traffic and are well-lit.

Existing and proposed physical infrastructure

Chembur enjoys good connectivity to all regions of Mumbai. The planned Line 2 of Mumbai Metro, will pass through Chembur. Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Dadar station, are close to Chembur and therefore, access to inter-city trains is easy.

With the presence of several factories and a dumping ground at Deonar, in its vicinity, pollution is the biggest concern for home buyers here.
