Best places to visit in Chirala

Ramapuram Beach

The resorts begin to appear immediately following this beach. It is situated before the Palm Coast Resorts. Evening visits to this beach are highly recommended. Due to its fewer visitors, this location is frequented by photographers.

However, it is not as pristine as some websites claim. Plastic and other debris have washed up on the coastlines, even though the seas look inviting.

Vodarevu Beach

Chirala beach is another name for Vodarevu beach. Or, at the very least, they share the same location on the maps.

This is the first beach you will encounter when approaching from the main road. Due to the large number of visitors, there are numerous food carts selling a variety of snacks, such as panipuri.

The majority of these stalls selling street food to tourists lack a waste disposal system. After eating, there is nowhere else to discard the used cups except on the beach.

Suryalanka Beach

This beach, also known as Bapatla Beach, is located nearby in the Guntur district, but not in Chirala. From Chirala, it takes nearly an hour to reach the beach.

Being 100 kilometres away from one of Andhra’s most popular tourist destinations, Vijayawada, this beach is typically crowded with tourists. The temporary stalls with music and bright lights are still present late at night.

You will encounter individual chalet-style accommodations while strolling along the shore. These aren’t found anywhere else in Chirala, and they are stunning.

Chirala Markets

Chirala is renowned for its burgeoning handloom sector. It is one of India’s most popular handloom centres, and its cloth weaving is distinctive. They are renowned for manufacturing traditional sarees from cotton and khadi.

As a result, the Chirala markets provide high-quality textiles at reduced prices. Curtains, furnishings, bedspreads, and an assortment of bodywear are also offered.
